This evening is one of those evenings where you should be out on your front porch, sipping iced tea, and having good conversation with a loved one.
A rarity for me to feel the "lonely" vibe, the weather was so absolutely beautiful, it just felt wrong to not be sharing it with someone.

Damn sorry to hear that. I know what you mean though; the commercials all say we need people for moments like that. But the commercials & reality are waaay far apart, and you probably had a better evening by yourself. We've all had our share of good & bad moments, but you are fortunate to be comfortable in your own company. (It takes me a bit of time to silence my panicky co-dependent side in order to enjoy stuff like that. But I'd better get used to it.)
Pretty hibiscus(?) though...
